Sorry guys, I was crazy busy this week and weekend so I didn't post my picks for the 83 PPV. More importantly I also didn't get to see Dave Mac's picks ahead of time after he proclaimed perfection this time around. I can honestly say that I didn't see Jason Day winning or Jonathan Goulet (Go Canada).

Despite some lack lustre performance (Kalib Starnes, Alan Belcher) there is only two points I would like to discuss with you guys.

1. Can Georges St. Pierre really beat Anderson Silva?

GSP is a big welterweight, but Silva is a big middleweight so I don't think Georges will have the size advantage that he normally enjoys. Silva's footwork is looking so good right now I think that he might nullify Georges speed. I believe that Georges is the better wrestler and despite Silva being a very long fighter, I think Georges could pass his guard and control from the top. With all that said, as we all know every fight starts standing and I think Silva would be able to stop it standing as well.

2. If Matt Serra and Matt Hughes do fight, who do you think will win?

The majority of Hughes' losses have come via submissions over his career, however Meatball Matt doesn't hold any submission wins over upper level competition or recently. I think Hughes would follow the same game plan as Georges and shoot for the takedown early and often. I would like to see Serra win, but I think Hughes would grind out a decision.

I would like to see Matt Huges get a long break and come back to be champ again.

Serra would not be able to hold the belt for so long and I don't think he would be interested in holding it for a long time either.

GSP will soon lose the belt and fight for it again and again and be known for the only fighter to lose the belt and win it back over and over again. I do think the Nighmare Diaz is still lurking out there.

I hope Serra beats GSP in the rubber match.

I wanna see Penn X GSP 2.

Penn v GSP 2 would be a better superfight than GSP v Silva.

A conditioned Penn is pretty scary, I think he's gonna take it to Sherk. Twisted Evil
