me, canucks and the old man went to the iroquois mma fights last night. it was a great night of action. why are you guys not going to these? it was a full 4 hours of non stop fights. only a couple went to to the judges. there were submissions, knock outs, and even some controversy. all in all a very entertaining night. highlights, jeff joslin (the after-fight) interviewer getting pissed with one of the fighters for throwing his sweaty bloody towel at him after a fight that he thought was stopped too soon. joslin put his hands up in a fighting stance, and started bobbing and weaving and inviting the guy to fight. corner men holding each side back until cooler heads prevailed and both went there separate ways, pretty cool. jeff joslin.....he's a no scared... . we also got our picture taken with mr international himself....shoney carter. i was a little disappointed that he wasn't actually fighting last night, he was on the poster???? and i have to admit i was even a little upset that he wasn't wearing one of his famous "banana hammocks" oh well there is always next time. don't get too excited steveo...i'm kidding _________________ "When you drink the water, thank the man who dug the well" |

Here's some pics from the event, I agree with Phil, it was a great night, they had guys from Cesar Gracie's camp, along with Shonie Carter's crew as well. some very talented fighters were on this card, a much higher caliber of fights than I expected.......
If anyone wants to support legalizing mma in Ontario, this event needs strong support to succeed, It's a professional event that is showing a ton of promise.
The pregnant ring girls have to go unfortunately.

| Yeah I've met James Procyk, the promoter and matchmaker for iroquois mma. He seemed like a cool and caring guy towards mma and it's growth. Looks like it was exciting to be at. When's the next one? |

I posted the promo poster weeks ago for this one, too bad no one else went.
Chuck will inform me when the next one is coming up. I'll give a heads up as soon as I know. _________________ He who ha ha's last, ha ha's best
