Guys the way you have trained the last 6 weeks is inspiring! I hope all the young aspiring fighters have taken note to the way you have carried yourselves for the last month or so and the dedication you have shown to sharpening the tools our great instructors have given us!
It goes without saying you guys are physically and mentally prepared so let’s go to Michigan and have a great show.
Keep in mind our school is respected both in talent and sportsmanship. It’s easy to talk trash from outside the cage or across a security filled arena, let’s show all the fighters some respect because they all deserve it, even the ones without BAMA on their shoulders.
You have already done us all proud! |

THE TIME HAS COME!
Training with all of you these past weeks has been tough. I have been watching your progress with a keen eye. You guys are looking sharp as hell and mentally tough with first class attitudes. All the hard work will pay off on saturday (the fun part).
Bust some heads boys!

All the guys did awesome...we're very proud of the results...
Matt- cam out with a fury of punches...his guy blocked upstairs, Matt went downstairs and got a HUGE double leg takedown...Matt landed in side control but his opponent had his neck and was holding on for dear life...Matt was in no danger and quickly advanced to mount, after giving delivering some shots to his guy's legs and ribs...Matt got reveresed and quickly secured a head/arm triangle. Very slick.
Adam- Big fight for Adam...his opponent had a lot of experience behind him as well as some trash talking...Adam's fight was 2rds...he dropped him twice and had his back about 4 times..the guy was very lucky yo escape the 1st rd....2nd rd he wasn't so lucky...Adam got the back, again...and secured a tight RNC...his opponent was tapping with both hands.
Denny- quick exchange forced Denny's opponent to go for a takedown...Denny stuffed it and went for a gullotine from top control...there was a scramble, Denny landed on his back to get guard...he quickly got up and advanced to mount...from there, Denny landed some big shots to get the TKO.
Paul- almost didn't fight...2 people backed out and he had to beg for a fight...thankfully, someone stepped up...Paul threw lots of high kick to keep distance and landed a nasty body kick....quick exchange led to Paul to get a double leg...he landed in half guard, softened his opponent with some punches to the body and head...he got reveresed and quickly saw the opening for a traingle...Paul finished his guy with a traingle arm lock.
Great job fellas!! |

I am always observing the individuals in the club who go out of their way to support competitors at the school.
I'm very happy with the consistency from individuals however, I am surprised with the ones that do not help out. In any case, what goes around comes around, we will focus on all individuals that possess the BAMA spirit.
The boys worked hard together and formed a very close unselfish team. They will definitely rise to every occasion despite any short comings. Now we focus on Mike's fight October 10th/09. _________________ sanguebom
